Transducers
External FHR monitoring of a singleton fetus utilizes US1, a 7-crystal transducer with a frequency of 1.5 MHz. For twins an additional transducer (US2) with a frequency of 1.0 MHz is used.
For internal FHR and FECG recording the 3-lead legplate employs a single skin electrode as a reference, positioned on the mother’s thigh. A TOCO transducer of strain-gauge type is used for external uterine activity recording. Internal uterine activity recording is possible with adapters for Intran and Koala® intra-uterine pressure transducers.
Printing solutions
The thermal recorder can be used for continuous real-time printing of tracings onto thermal paper. Positioned on the lower shelf of the trolley, it is connected to STAN™ S31 Fetal heart monitor with a serial cable.
A standard laser printer (PCL5 or newer) can be connected via an adapter to a standard (TCP/IP) network to STAN S31. Laser printers can either be used to print a specific part of the tracing on command during the recording or for retrospective printing.
STAN Viewer software is Windows based and can be used on a standard PC. It enables
STAN recordings to be viewed retrospectively, printed, annotated or e-mailed.
STAN TR31 Trolley
The STAN TR31 Trolley is used as a mobile stand for STAN S31. STAN S31 is mounted onto top of the trolley and may be tilted for different viewing angles. It also includes a shelf, a drawer, an open basket and an innovative transducer holder. The trolley includes 3 integrated electrical outlets and is rated for a maximum weight loading of 50 kg.
STAN WM31 Wall Mount
STAN WM31 Wall Mount is an arm that makes it possible to mount the STAN S31 on a wall in the delivery room. The STAN WM31 Wall Mount can be adjusted about 1.5 meters in the horizontal plane and 1 meter in the vertical plane for maximum flexibility.

Electrodes for STAN S31
Goldtrace fetal scalp electrode is a gold plated single-spiral fetal scalp electrode designed for ST analysis.
Skin electrodes are delivered single packed. We recommend the high quality skin electrodes for reliable signal acquisition. A separate skin abrader is included for correct skin application.
Telemetry*
A telemetry system enables remote monitoring with STAN S31. The cordless transducers give the patient optimal freedom of movement during monitoring, and also enable monitoring under water. Compatible telemetry system is the Rimkus T800 Series. Of this series the Rimkus T803U system allows internal monitoring via a legplate connected to the cordless ultrasound transducer. This model enables cordless monitoring of twins and a fast changeover to ST-analysis when remote monitoring not longer is required.
Vital Signs Monitors (VSM)
By connecting a vital signs monitor (VSM) it is possible to monitor temperature, blood pressure, pulse rate, and oxygen saturation of the mother. Maternal parameter data are automatically transmitted to STAN, displayed on screen, and stored with the STAN data. Compatible vital signs monitor is the Criticare 506N3 Series.
Central Monitoring Systems (CMS)
CTG data are available from STAN S31 via standard protocols that allow connection to most cental monitoring systems.
Please see CMS with ST for more information about Central Monitoring Systems with integrated ST information.
