Question: I am not able to register if I don’t fill in the VAT-no. What is a VAT-no.?

Answer: You need a VAT number if the invoice should be sent to your hospital. Contact your financial department and/or the head of obstetrics at your hospital. If the invoice is to be sent to your home address you do not need a VAT number, please just write your name in this field.

Question: Who are the main lecturers?

Answer: Edwin Chandraharan works as the Lead Clinician for Labour Ward and Lead for Clinical Governance in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at St. George’s Healthcare NHS Trust, London. He is an Honorary Senior Lecturer to St George’s University of London and currently Clinical Director of Women’s Services. He is passionate about delivering high quality patient care with a strong focus on Risk Management and Patient Experience. He has published several abstracts in National and International Scientific Meetings and Review articles in various aspects of obstetrics and gynaecological practice.

Edwin has been invited to both National and International Scientific Meetings to deliver lectures and seminars on fetal monitoring and obstetric emergencies.

St George’s fetal monitoring team has won a prestigious award in May, 2016. The award recognizes outstanding efficiency by the NHS, excellent use of resources, and improvements in outcomes for patients. St George’s won the ‘Value and Improvement in Obstetrics and Gynaecology’ category for its innovative fetal monitoring strategy. This was developed to tackle variations in how different practitioners interpret CTG. This has helped St George’s have the lowest rate of emergency caesareans in London as well as a very low rates of babies with brain damage due to lack of oxygen in labour.

Question: Do we receive any hands out prior the course?

Answer: Hands out such as articles and Power Point presentations will be sent to you after the course by e-mail, to be able to listen, interact and enjoy the sessions.

Question: What is a pretest?

Answer: The participants will have a test in the beginning of the course to determine the participant´s knowledge prior the CTG Master Class.

Question: What is the posttest?

Answer: A test given after the CTG Master Class to determine what the participants have learnt during the course.
