Today is World Patient Safety Day 2021 – an awareness day initiated by the WHO. This year’s theme – Safe maternal and newborn care – is a topic that is extra close to our hearts at Neoventa.
Approximately 810 women die every day from preventable causes related to pregnancy and childbirth. In addition, around 6700 newborns die every day, amounting to 47% of all under-5 deaths. Moreover, about 2 million babies are stillborn every year with over 40% occurring during labour.
It is time to act now – for safe and respectful childbirth!
We have developed and provided solutions for advanced fetal monitoring with CTG and ST Analysis for over 20 years with the aim to make every birth as safe as possible. Our educational program, Neoventa Academy, offers CTG Masterclasses to increase knowledge among healthcare workers to improve medical outcomes.
