Patient case #1 – Stan as my safety buddy (gradually evolving hypoxia)
In this patient case we will observe a gradually evolving hypoxia and reduced variability at a high baseline.
Patient background
- 37 years of age, BMI 22
- G2p1 – vaginal birth 2005
- Uncomplicated pregnancy
- 36 week scan – cephalic, high placenta, EFW 36th centile, normal amniotic fluid and normal Dopplers
- 38 weeks gestation
- 17h00 – spontaneous rupture of membranes and small antepartum haemorrhage (APH) 50 ml
