Question: I am not able to register if I don’t fill in the VAT-no. What is a VAT-no.?

Answer: You need a VAT number if the invoice should be sent to your hospital. Contact your financial department and/or the head of obstetrics at your hospital. If the invoice is to be sent to your home address you do not need a VAT number, please just write your name in this field.

Question: Is it possible to get a refund if I need to cancel?

Answer: No refund is available for a cancellation or amendment made within four weeks of the training course. This is because at this point we would have already incurred costs for your placing on the course due to factors such as staff resources and production team.

Answer: A link will be received two days prior the course if we have received your payment.

Question: Who is the lecturer?

Answer: Edwin Chandraharan M.B.B.S. M.S (Obs & Gyn), DFFP, DCRM, FSLCOG, FRCOG
Edwin is the Director of Global Academy of Medical Education & Training Ltd, and was the Lead Consultant for Labour Ward at St. George’s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, London from 2005 to February 2020. He has been the Clinical Director for Women’s services FROM 2011-2016 and the Lead for Clinical Governance in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from 2005-2017. He is passionate about delivering high quality patient care with a strong focus on Transformational Training, Risk Management and Patient Experience. He was appointed as the Visiting Professor at the Tianjin Central Hospital for Women, Tianjin Province, China in 2016.

Edwin Chandraharan firmly believes in improving safety and quality of care in Intrapartum Fetal Monitoring through implementation of physiology based CTG Interpretation with the use of Fetal ECG (STAN) and staff training. He has edited several books and published abstracts in National and International Scientific Meetings and Review articles in various aspects of obstetrics and gynaecological practice.

Edwin Chandraharan was part of the Team which won two National Awards in the UK: HSJ Value Award in 2016 and the BMJ Clinical Leadership Award in 2017 for ensuring a reduction in emergency caesarean sections and a low hypoxic ischaemic encephalopathy rates in the UK through implementation of physiology-based CTG interpretation, with the use of Fetal ECG (STAN) and staff training.

Question: Do we receive any hands out prior the course?

Answer: Hands out such as articles and Power Point presentations will be sent to you after the course by e-mail, to be able to listen, interact and enjoy the sessions.

Question: What is a pretest?

Answer: The participants will have a test prior the course to determine the participant´s knowledge prior the CTG Master Class.

Question: What is the posttest?

Answer: A test given after the CTG Master Class to determine what the participants have learnt during the course.
